welcome to DA, its really awesome, dont trip on all that nonsense, i think it was actually kind of a rare occurance...but you at least got some good ideas about how stuff works here and what not to do....especially as a brand new person it can be a little dissapointing for a while when you submit your stuff and no one even looks at it...ill check out your page, and if you like to find cool stuff the best way to start out is to find someone whose stuff you like and check out their favorites gallery, i could jump around like that forever and find more and more stuff that i like every day...devart is huge, if you want comments best advice is to leave comments on the ones that interest you...be careful not to ask them to check out your gallery in the comment because a lot of the old timers here will say you are "whoring" for comments lol...DA should make a new arrivals tip page cuz it takes a while to figure out all the protocols......have fun and write me a note if you ever want or need to
Actually, thanks for telling me not to be a "comment whore". I was about to actually start begging people they should look at my stuff, but now, i think it just makes more sense if i just let them "discover" my work on their own.
You are soooo right about being here forever. Even tonight, i have at least 3 hours worth of homework to do, but i have been so busy with DA (and watching the lunar eclipse) that i have already wasted a few hours, which means that i could have been done right now if i really cared.
